Band 5 Registered Nurse required

Our fantastic client are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join their team on the Wards in the Dorset area.

Our client is the UK largest private hospital group with 59 Hospitals and treatment centres nationwide. You will need a minimum of 1 years of experience in within a hospital environment. You will be competent in the knowledge of patient care and relevant nursing procedures.

The role is Full time 37.5 Hours per week. Applicants are required to be flexible regarding shift pattern.

Role Description:

Act as a role model for the ward team to encourage achievement of the highest clinical quality standards; and in accordance with Best Practice.

To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures as a skilled member of the nursing team.

To promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.

To assist the Ward Lead Nurse in delivering the Hospital strategic objectives for the ward and nursing service generally.

To provide high quality, holistic nursing care to the agreed company Standards.

Maintain good communications with Consultants and multi-disciplinary colleagues.

Assist the senior nurse on shift in the efficient use of all resources including staffing.

Deliver direct patient care within the policies and protocols set out by the company.

Provide a visible presence as a registered nurse to support all other staff members.

Support nurse in charge when action is required to meet the changing needs of individual patients including dependency level and changes in bed occupancy.

Support the implementation of new products.

Ensure clear communication and liaison with other departments.
