The Director of Clinical Services will be responsible for providing clinical direction and strong professional leadership to all Nursing and Clinical staff within the organisation. This will include heading up the delivery of clinical standards of care, driving a culture of patient safety and clinical effectiveness.

The Director of Clinical Services will work with the Executive Director and Director of Operations who will work together in delivering strategic, operational and business developments throughout the organisation. This will suit a driven, autonomous registered Director of Clinical Services/ Director of Nursing/ Matron with excellent leadership skills and prior experience of leading multiple different clinical areas ideally from the private sector environment.

The Director of Clinical Services will have the relevant qualifications and experience listed below:

Registered Nurse Level 1 or Registered practitioner / Diploma / relevant Health Specialty Degree/ Degree Level qualification

Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically, managerially, preferably evidenced by a registered qualification with the NMC, HCPC or GPC

Willingness to work towards a higher leadership and management qualification

Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability and HCPC Standards of Proficiency and the HCPC / GPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

Knowledge of NMC codes and guidelines and their implications for practice

Location: Cheshire | Salary: 70000 - 75000 per year | Job type: Permanent
