Anaesthetics & Recovery Theatre Practitioner

An exciting opportunity for an Anaesthetics & Recovery Theatre Practitioner based in Hertfordshire to join their Theatre department. This is a full-time post and will require to cover a variety of Shifts including earlies, lates, weekends and flexi hours.

You will be a Registered Practitioner with NMC or HPC registration with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This role requires an individual who can work as part of a team who can contribute to quality improvement. Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a range and varied patient case mix and competent across a range of skills. You will be competent in assembling, checking and preparing the appropriate surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for a wide range of theatre operative procedures. This will also include Monitor, order, receive and check stock items including prosthesis, equipment/instruments and drugs. You will have a recognised External Advanced Scrub Practitioner qualification ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
