Occupational Health Nurse Advisor – IN-HOUSE – Network Rail
35 Hour Working Week

Greys Specialist Recruitment and Network Rail are working in partnership for their NEW in-house Occupational Health department. Their main goal is to focus on the immediate and long-term health of their employees; their health comes first. They want to empower the Occupational Health Nurse Advisors to change and improve people’s health. Working with Network Rail will give career progression and learning and development opportunities.  

Network Rail will have 22 Occupational Health Centres across the UK. All the OH Centres will be equipped with all of the necessary equipment you would expect in a modern-day service.

Occupational Health Nurse Advisor

Working as part of a national Occupational Health team, the Occupational Health Nurse Advisor will be an integral part of a pro-active occupational health team. Network Rail want their team to focus on the employee’s health and wellbeing on a short and long-term basis. Building relationships with the employee’s, the managers, and the wider business. There will also be opportunities to work with the team on UK wide projects, covering different topics.  

The Occupational Health Nurse Advisors will have a minimum case time of 1.5 hours, this may be longer depending on the case. 

Day-to-day the Occupational Health Nurse Advisor will:  
-Case Management 
-Give evidence-based advice  
-Build relationships with managers, employees and all parts of the business 
-Be the main point of contact for OH 

The role will also include: 
-Visiting different departments within the business to see how people work 
-Being a team player within a UK wide team 
-Pro-active occupational health  
-Evidence based occupational health  
-Constantly learning about the rail industry
