ACC Clinical Coder

ACC or Experienced Clinical Coders (5 years minimum experience)

This position requires you to hold the NCCQ qualification or you must have gained your experience as a clinical coder working within a clinical coding department in an NHS or private hospital within the UK.

This is an onsite clinical coding vacancy in the North West of England

You will be required to code paper case notes

Duties:

Proficient in ICD-10 and OPCS4. Review and analyse medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments. Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Skills: Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.  Attention to detail and accuracy in coding assignments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
