Are you an experienced Occupational Health professional looking for a strategic leadership role in a dynamic and essential service? Do you have the expertise to drive forward clinical governance and wellbeing service improvements in a high-performing emergency service environment? If so, this interim opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.

We are seeking an Occupational Health Clinical Lead on a 9-month fixed-term basis. This crucial role will lead the strategic review of how wellbeing services are delivered across the organisation, ensuring improved clinical governance, robust referral pathways, and the introduction of clinical audit processes aligned with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and expert clinical oversight within a nurse-led service.

  • Review and refine the wellbeing delivery model, ensuring best practices in occupational health.

  • Evaluate and enhance referral pathways and access to Occupational Health Physician (OHP) services.

  • Strengthen clinical governance, implementing systems that align with professional regulatory standards.

  • Develop and embed clinical audit processes to drive continuous improvement.

  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure a nationally cohesive and effective occupational health strategy.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience in an Occupational Health leadership role, ideally at Clinical Lead level.

  • A track record of strategic planning and service improvement within a large and complex organisation.

  • Strong understanding of clinical governance frameworks and regulatory standards.

  • Experience in developing and implementing clinical audit processes.
