Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Hybrid role with 1-2 days per week on site in Bristol
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, between 8:00 am - 6:00 pm).
Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Are you passionate about improving workplace health and well-being? As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing employees' health, ensuring they thrive in their roles, and promoting a healthy work-life balance. 

The Role

  • Delivering expert case management services, offering evidence-based advice on attendance, fitness for work, and occupational health concerns.

  • Producing professional, comprehensive reports based on case management outcomes.

  • Conducting fitness medicals and health surveillance assessments in line with best practices.

  • Evaluating results from medicals and health surveillance, ensuring the appropriate fitness advice is communicated and escalating as necessary.

  • Offering additional occupational services, such as vaccinations, ergonomic assessments, health promotion, and travel health advice.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Registered Nurse (Part 1) with NMC registration.

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree/Diploma).

  • Proven expertise in:

    • Spirometry, audiometry, general medicals, drug & alcohol screening, case management, and fitness for role assessments.

  • Strong written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
