Vacancy Detail

Customer Support Advisor

Are you someone who loves speaking with people, thrives on getting things right, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit, friendly team? If so, this could be your next great opportunity.

We’re working with a successful and growing international manufacturing business based in Carrington. Known for their high-quality products and down-to-earth, supportive culture, they’re now looking for a Customer Support Advisor to join their busy customer service team.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll play a key part in keeping customers happy, supporting internal teams, and making sure everything from orders to dispatch runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as a helpful point of contact for customers – by phone and email

  • Processing customer orders accurately and sending out confirmations

  • Organising sample requests and keeping customers updated

  • Preparing paperwork for the production and dispatch teams

  • Supporting with quotes, job sheets, delivery tracking, and invoicing

  • Working closely with sales, production, warehouse, and accounts teams

  • Helping solve customer queries and occasionally supporting with complaints

  • Spotting opportunities to upsell or cross-sell when appropriate

You’ll be part of a genuinely collaborative team where people support each other, and no two days are quite the same. There’s plenty of variety, lots to learn, and the chance to build great relationships across the business.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need years of experience – but you do need to be organised, friendly, and confident speaking to people. This role would suit someone with previous customer service or admin experience, ideally in a busy office or manufacturing environment.

Here’s what would make you a great fit:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer support, admin, or office-based role

  • Excellent attention to detail – you like to get things right the first time

  • Strong communication skills – you’re warm, clear, and professional

  • Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and internal systems

  • Able to stay organised and calm when things get busy

  • A proactive mindset – you enjoy solving problems and taking ownership

You’ll get full training on systems, products, and processes – so if you’ve got the right attitude and approach, they’ll help you build the rest.
