Marketing Manager (Part Time)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the events and trade media industry. They are seeking a talented and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for a portfolio of B2B brands and a flagship UK industry event.

This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional who enjoys taking ownership, developing campaigns from concept to delivery, and working closely with internal teams to drive engagement and growth.

 

The Role

 

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of marketing activity for an established trade event and its associated digital platforms. The role combines event marketing, digital content, and audience development, requiring a mix of creativity, organisation, and commercial awareness.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across digital, print, social media, email, and PR channels.
  • Plan and deliver targeted campaigns to increase visitor attendance, exhibitor leads, and online engagement.
  • Manage website and newsletter content, ensuring consistency of tone and brand messaging.
  • Use analytics and SEO tools to measure performance and inform strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, associations, and suppliers.
  • Oversee design, copy, and creative assets for campaigns and event branding.
  • Report on key performance indicators, managing budgets efficiently and identifying areas for improvement.

 

Experience & Skills Required

 

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in B2B marketing, ideally within exhibitions, events, or trade publishing.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, CRM systems, and email automation tools.
  • Confident analysing data and using insights to refine marketing activity.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and project management skills.
