The Role:
As Commercial Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the sales strategy for stands and sponsorship, maximising all commercial opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of exhibitors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Creating persuasive, tailored proposals that align with client objectives and elevate the event.
  • Negotiating and closing high-value deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborating across teams to deliver immersive, creative, and experiential activations.
  • Analysing sales metrics, market trends, and performance data to optimise growth.
  • Representing the brand at key industry events to generate leads and strengthen relationships.
  • Leading and mentoring your team to achieve targets and support career development.

KPIs:

  • Year-on-year stand revenue growth
  • New business development across sponsorship and stands
  • High conversion rates on proposals and pitches
  • Retention and satisfaction rates of sponsors and exhibitors
  • Timely delivery of commercial elements on-site
  • Innovation in commercial packages and activations

You’ll Have:

  • Proven experience in senior exhibition and/or sponsorship sales roles
  • Track record of growing revenue for large-scale events
  • Confidence in selling from cold call to C-suite pitch
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify new opportunities
  • Experience managing high-value clients and building long-term relationships
  • Team leadership experience and a collaborative mindset
  • Bonus: experience in lifestyle, interiors, or consumer-facing sectors
