Graphic Designer

A well-established exhibitions and media business is looking to hire an experienced Graphic Designer to join its in-house creative studio. This is a fully office-based role in Loughton, working closely with creative, marketing and exhibition delivery teams to produce high-impact design for a portfolio of large-scale live events.

The role is heavily focused on exhibition-led design, taking creative campaigns from initial concept through to on-site delivery. You’ll be producing a wide range of assets across print, digital, social and motion, with the opportunity to see your work brought to life in real-world event environments.

The role

  • Designing and delivering creative exhibition campaigns from concept through to execution

  • Producing a broad range of exhibition collateral including marketing materials, signage, large-format graphics, digital assets, social content and email campaigns

  • Adapting creative across multiple formats, platforms and audiences

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Working collaboratively within an in-house studio and alongside wider business teams

  • Maintaining brand consistency and high creative standards across all outputs

Skills and experience required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience as a graphic designer (in-house or agency)

  • Strong experience working on exhibitions, events or campaign-led marketing projects

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects

  • Excellent layout, typography and visual communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard of finish

  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative studio team

Desirable (not essential)

  • Experience with video or film editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro

  • Motion or video content creation for digital and social platforms
