Events and Sponsorship Sales Executive

Are you a commercially driven Events Sponsorship Sales professional, or have experience selling into the construction and housing sector?

This is an opportunity to join a well-established events business delivering high-profile conferences, forums and roundtables focused on construction, housing, infrastructure and the wider built environment. Their events bring together senior decision-makers from local authorities, housing associations, developers, contractors, consultants and solution providers to address some of the most pressing challenges across the industry.

As the events portfolio continues to expand, they are now looking for an ambitious Events and Sponsorship Sales Executive to drive sponsorship revenue across a busy calendar of construction and housing-focused events.

In this role, you will be responsible for selling sponsorship packages to private sector organisations operating within construction, housing, property, infrastructure and the built environment. You will engage senior stakeholders, understand commercial objectives, and position event sponsorship as a high-impact marketing and lead-generation solution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying, prospecting and securing new sponsors across construction, housing, property and infrastructure sectors
• Building and managing strong relationships with senior decision-makers, including directors, heads of business development and marketing leaders
• Selling tailored event sponsorship and exhibition packages aligned to sponsor objectives
• Running high-quality sales calls, video meetings and presentations focused on value and ROI
• Managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close and ongoing account management
• Working closely with internal events and marketing teams to develop compelling sponsorship propositions
• Consistently achieving and exceeding sponsorship revenue targets in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales pipelines and forecasts
• Keeping up to date with market trends, regulation and funding across construction and housing

The ideal profile:

• Proven experience in events sponsorship sales, B2B events sales, media sales or a similar commercial role
• Experience selling into construction, housing, property or the built environment is highly desirable
• Confident, credible communicator with strong negotiation skills
• Target-driven, resilient and comfortable working in a sales-led environment
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
• Consultative, commercially minded sales approach
• Comfortable using CRM systems and standard business software

What’s on offer:

• Basic salary of £28,000 – £32,000
• On-target earnings of £60,000 - £100,000
• Working hours: 9.00am – 4.45pm Monday to Thursday, with early finishes on Fridays
• Ongoing training, development and clear progression opportunities
