Lead Occupational Therapist / Clinical Specialist (Sensory Integration)

Location: North London

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

The Role An ‘Outstanding’ rated therapeutic centre is seeking a permanent Lead Occupational Therapist to join their innovative multidisciplinary team. You will work within a specialised service focused on developmental trauma, attachment difficulties, and neurodiversity. This role combines high-level clinical work with leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership: Provide supervision and consultation for the OT team and wider clinical staff.

  • Caseload Management: Oversee a complex trauma caseload, conducting integrated assessments and treatments.

  • Reporting: Compile comprehensive assessment and treatment reports, ensuring all clinical and funding deadlines are met.

  • Collaboration: Work alongside psychologists and social workers to deliver holistic, child-friendly care.

  • Operational Oversight: Manage OT service finances and liaise with external professionals for treatment contracts.

Necessary Requirements

  • Qualification: Recognised BSc in Occupational Therapy with HCPC accreditation.

  • Specialism: Post-graduate training in Sensory Integration (SI).

  • Experience: Proven background in paediatrics, ideally within trauma, attachment, or neurodiversity services.

  • Attributes: Motivated to work with complex needs in a collaborative, small-team environment.
