Occupational Health Advisor
Occupational Health Advisor (Part-Time , Permanent)
Location: Crumlin, Newport (2 days onsite)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Advisor to join a well-established and supportive team delivering high-quality health and wellbeing services. This is a varied, hands-on role combining clinical delivery, case management, and health promotion within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Occupational Health services including health surveillance, medicals, and fitness-for-work assessments
- Undertake vaccinations and phlebotomy
- Manage a caseload of complex referrals, supporting employees back to work
- Provide professional advice on health, wellbeing, and workplace health promotion
- Support workplace wellness initiatives and campaigns
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records
- Work independently and as part of a wider team to deliver an excellent service
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration
- Occupational Health qualification and relevant OHA experience
- Competent in health surveillance, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and case management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
- IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience in a commercial or corporate Occupational Health setting is desirable but not essential.
