Occupational Health Advisor - Health Surveillance

Occupational Health Advisor - Remote 

Full Time/Part Time (minimum 3 days per week)

I’m currently working on a fully remote Occupational Health opportunity that I thought might be of interest.

This role sits within a well-established provider of occupational health and wellbeing services, supporting a wide range of organisations across the UK.

The role:
You’ll be responsible for reviewing and managing Health Surveillance escalations, identifying concerns, and ensuring appropriate next steps in line with best practice and HSE guidelines. The position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, delivering evidence-based case management, and providing clear, professional occupational health advice.

There is also a mix of responsibilities including:

  • Reviewing and managing HS escalations and inbox queries
  • Producing detailed written reports and recommendations
  • Conducting fitness for work assessments and health surveillance
  • Supporting wider OH services, including health promotion and ergonomics (where appropriate)
  • Providing guidance and feedback within the clinical team

What they’re looking for:

  • NMC Registered (Part 1)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (degree or diploma)
  • Experience in case management and health surveillance
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in spirometry, audiometry, and general medicals
