Occupational Health Advisor (Part-Time, Hybrid)

Location: York / Hybrid 

Salary: £45,000 FTE + Excellent Benefits

Working Pattern: 4 days per week (Permanent)

Joining an established, nurse-led in-house team, you will enjoy a manageable caseload (typically just 4 referral appointments and 1 remote pre-placement per day) and a highly supportive working environment.

The Role & Your Impact

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will manage case reviews with professionalism and efficiency, driving positive change through robust case management.

• Conduct high-quality telephone-based and occasional face-to-face work-based assessments.

• Collaborate closely with HR, safety teams, and key stakeholders.

• Utilise advanced cloud-based OH software and automated booking systems to manage your day efficiently.

• Work closely with a dedicated team of 5 OH Nurse Advisors, admin support, and an external Occupational Physician network.

Your Ingredients for Success

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Valid UK Nursing Registration (NMC).

• A recognised Occupational Health qualification (Diploma or Degree/SCPHN).

• Proven experience working within an Occupational Health setting with strong case management skills.

• The ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively with HR and safety teams.

• Proficiency in modern digital tools, including MS Office and Teams.
