Occupational Health Advisor – Northamptonshire (Full Time or Part Time Options)

The Role
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will be key to maintaining and promoting health standards across the organisation. Your responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality health surveillance and pre-employment medicals
- Handling management referrals and occupational health case management consultations (face-to-face and remotely)
- Providing advice on fitness for work, workplace adjustments, rehabilitation, and return-to-work planning
- Liaising with line managers, HR, and stakeholders to deliver specialist occupational health expertise
- Maintaining confidential medical records in alignment with GDPR and professional standards
Skills and Experience
- Occupational Health qualification (Degree or Diploma) or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Occupational Health settings
- Proven experience overseeing health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments
- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Working Pattern & Location
- You must work at least 50% of your hours on site, with the remainder remotely
- Your office days will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (to complement other part-time staff)
