Location: Preston
Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 per annum, dependent on experience + benefits
Hours: Part-time – 3 days per week
Contract: Permanent

Are you an experienced Occupational Health Advisor looking for a part-time permanent opportunity with an established occupational health team?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Occupational Health Advisor to join their team in Preston, working 3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OH professional to take on a varied role, delivering a comprehensive occupational health service and supporting employees and management across a range of workplace health matters.

The Role

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering the full occupational health remit, including:

  • Occupational health case management
  • Fitness-for-work assessments and advice
  • Health surveillance
  • Health screening
  • Health promotion and wellbeing
  • Vaccinations
  • Phlebotomy
  • Providing professional advice to managers and employees
  • Supporting absence management and return-to-work processes
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records
  • Working in line with professional standards, clinical governance and relevant legislation

You will have the opportunity to work across a varied occupational health service, supporting both employee wellbeing and organisational health.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • RGN qualification with current NMC registration
  • Previous Occupational Health experience
  • Experience delivering a broad range of OH services
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage your own caseload
  • A professional, approachable and proactive manner
