Digital Learning Manager

Greys Specialist Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Digital Learning Manager to join a leading organisation on an initial 6-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong learning technology and instructional design experience to take ownership of a digital learning platform, improve the learner experience and support the delivery of effective, compliant learning programmes.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and the wider Digital Learning team, you will lead the ongoing development of the learning platform, oversee digital content creation and ensure learning data, reporting and compliance processes are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the organisation's Learning Management System (LMS), ideally Totara or Moodle, ensuring it meets business and learner requirements.
  • Oversee system configuration, enhancements, integrations, upgrades and issue resolution.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of the organisation's digital learning academy.
  • Design and develop engaging digital and blended learning programmes using instructional design best practice.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create storyboards, scripts and digital learning content.
  • Review and update existing learning materials to maintain quality and relevance.
  • Manage learning analytics, reporting, data validation and compliance monitoring.
  • Support year-end audit activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor learner engagement, completion rates and compliance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with internal teams, suppliers and technical stakeholders to resolve issues and improve platform functionality.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to colleagues within the Digital Learning team.

About You

We are looking for an organised and technically capable digital learning professional who can combine platform management with effective learning design and reporting.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience managing and developing an LMS, preferably Totara.
  • A strong understanding of instructional design and digital learning development.
  • Experience producing engaging digital and blended learning content.
  • Good analytical skills, including reporting, data validation and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

What's on Offer?

  • Hourly rate of £20 - £23, dependent on experience.
  • Home-based working with occasional travel.
  • Full-time hours of 37.5 per week.
  • An initial 6-month contract.
