Part time permanent position

Our client a global organisation are looking to recruit an in house Occupational Health Advisor for a site based stand-alone position at their site in Stanford Le Hope, Essex.

This is a part time permanent position working 26.25 hours per week over 5 days (will consider 4 days).

The department and OHA also has the support from a medical secretary.

The role will be to provide comprehensive and proactive Occupational Health service concerning all areas of Occupational Health & Wellbeing to the business for around 500 + employees in addition to contractors.

You will be required to carry out pre-employment screening including drug and alcohol testing, health promotion DSE assessments, health surveillance and Sickness Absence case management.

Act as the company Advisor on all aspects of Health and Wellbeing.

Establishing relationships with staff, managers and HR Business Partners ,to deliver a comprehensive, business focussed and clinically sound Occupational Health service in accordance with current legislation in line with standard operating procedures.

Support the development of policies and procedures and guidelines where required and this really gives you the opportunity to make the role your own. Provide reports and KPIs as requested and needed.

The candidate will-

Registered General Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register

Experienced within all aspects of Occupational Health

A relevant OH diploma or degree

A proactive and flexible approach to their work

Demonstrate experience of IT systems

Ability to work independently but also with a team.
