Physiotherapist
Permanent | Full time role based in Hitchin.
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum.
Our well established client are looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessment of service user needs in relation particularly to optimising independence and physical function, and symptom control.
- Responsible to devise a formal plan for families and carers to provide physiotherapy interventions as part of overall care.
- Liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of physiotherapy.
- Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision.
- Ensure appropriate prescription, provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources
Qualifications & Experience:
- HCPC registered
- Current registration with professional body (e.g. CSP)
- BSc in Physiotherapy
- Knowledge and application of physiotherapy assessments and interventions using clinical reasoning
- An ability to work autonomously and to set own and support others’ priorities
- An ability to confidently assess and manage risk in relation to physical performance
