Location: Ilkeston
Contract: Permanent | Part-time (3 days per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to oversee an in-house Occupational Health service in Ilkeston, with limited travel to other locations.

This role offers the chance to step into a well-supported environment, while shaping and developing the on-site Occupational Health provision. It’s ideal for a confident, proactive OH professional who enjoys autonomy and building strong working relationships across the business.

The Role

You will deliver a full Occupational Health service, including:

  • Health surveillance

  • New starter screening

  • Supporting physical health, mental health and neurodiversity in the workplace

  • Safety-critical and driver assessments

  • Management referrals

  • Drug and alcohol monitoring

  • Health promotion

  • Supporting HSE policy

  • HAVs assessments

  • Delivering health and wellbeing initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC PIN

  • Previous Occupational Health experience covering the above duties

  • Confidence working independently and managing your own workload

  • A full UK driving licence

  • An OH qualification

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
