Case Advisor

We are working with a large public sector organisation in Wiltshire to recruit an experienced Case Advisor to join their Employee Relations team on a temporary basis.
 

This is a hands-on, operational ER role supporting managers with complex casework across a diverse workforce.
 

The Role


You will provide professional HR advice on a wide range of employee relations matters, including:


•    Complex disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases
•    Safeguarding-related HR matters
•    Supporting restructures and organisational change processes
•    TUPE and consultation processes
•    Preparing documentation for legal proceedings and liaising with legal teams where required
•    Coaching managers to ensure policy compliance and risk mitigation
•    Supporting and mentoring junior HR colleagues on complex cases

 

This is a fast-paced environment where you will manage competing priorities and provide clear, commercially focused advice within a public sector framework.
 

About You


We are looking for:


•    CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
•    Strong employment law knowledge
•    Proven experience handling complex ER casework independently
•    Experience working in a unionised environment
•    Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
•    Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy caseload


Public sector or education sector experience would be advantageous.
 

The Offer


•    £18–£20 per hour
