Occupational Therapist - Paediatrics
Permanent: Full-Time
Location: Buckingham

We are working with a well-established service seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in their daily lives.
Main duties:
- Manage and prioritise a diverse clinical caseload effectively
- Deliver evidence-based 1:1 and group interventions
- Provide guidance, training, and advice to parents, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals
- Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to transition planning processes
- Supervise, mentor, and support therapy assistants and students through reflective practice
- Contribute to ongoing service development and promote a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications and skills:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Current HCPC registration
- Strong understanding of child development and occupational therapy principles
- Proven ability to manage a varied and competing workload
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience within SEN schools or residential children’s homes
- Experience working with children with complex developmental, neurological, or sensory needs
- Training in sensory integration, or willingness to work towards qualification
