The Context

A well-established provider of OH services initiated a project to recruit Occupational Health Technicians across the UK to meet rapidly increasing demands from new and existing clients’ contracts. OHTs were needed to deliver:

  • Health surveillance including audiometry and spirometry
  • Safety critical medicals, driver medicals and specialist medicals
  • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Hand arm vibration assessments

The initiative required OHTs who could operate on sites across the UK, with extensive travel and a requirement to stay away from home based on the needs of clients.
